CJS Ltd are now members of the BM TRADA Q-Mark fire door manufacture scheme, a third party accredited scheme which audits its member companies both by inspection and audit tests of products. We believe that fire safety is of high importance and therefore we invest time in producing high quality fire safe doors. Our products are all rigorously tested to ensure that they meet the appropriate safety standards, to our clients’ requirements. At CJS we understand that our clients require third party reassurance from an autonomous source to reassure you of our testing procedures. This is why we use a Q-Mark testing scheme; it is a well-known, well-established and reliable independent testing procedure.

Fire door certification provides independent reassurance to specifiers and purchasers that your products are manufactured to a consistent quality.

Whilst this demonstrates that the door meets the legally acceptable minimum standards, the BM TRADA Q-Mark fire door manufacturer scheme can provide additional reassurance that your products are fit for purpose through on-going compliance to the original product specification.

As a fire door manufacturer, it is a legal requirement for us to provide proof that all of our fire doors that we manufacture have undergone testing to prove they will halt the passage of fire for the stated rating.

The scheme can provide additional reassurance that your products are fit for purpose through on-going compliance to the original product specification. Every year, we are third party audited for the BM-TRADA Q-MARK Scheme. All of our manufacturing processes are checked to make sure we are following the certifications to the letter. Because of this, in all of our flush fire doors we can put a coloured plug to indicate the door is Q-MARKED. When purchasing or even specifying a Q-MARKED door, you can 100% guarantee and be safe assured that you are going to get exactly what you ask for.

The Q Mark plugs are inserted into our fire rated doors to indicate the fire resistance properties of each door. each colour and code is representative of a certain feature within the door design. the plugs are located in the hinge side of the door. Below are the combination of plug options that we currently offer under our Q Mark scope.
